I’d have to probably put Insomniac as my favorite Green Day album as well, even though Dookie is very dear to me.

There’s some truth to that, Joe. I think Insomniac is great for driving, but not for actually paying attention. And “Brain Stew” is, uh, a no-brainer for beginning guitar students.

But what do I know? I’m the type of guy who would put Strapping Young Lad’s “You Suck” on a summer mix CD.

Fueled By Ramen is out of control. I remember Ben’s ball-punching antics, those were the days.

And you know, Insomniac is actually my favorite Green Day album. It’s pretty one-dimensional, but I think it’s their best dimension. It’s three guys sticking to what they know.

Ultrawifebot, you should make your own mix! You can fill it with the Sugarcubes and the B-52s and then our mixes will battle it out on the dance floor.

Sweet list! I appreciate the Zebrahead and Less Than Jake placement. Less Than Jake makes me think of playing basketball in your driveway in the summer, which makes me think of Ben punching the ball over the house. On a side note its amazing how huge the Fueled By Ramen label has gotten…

I really like that Green Day song. Sure, most of the songs on the Insomniac album bleed into each other (and not in a good way), but “Bab’s Uvula Who?” still kicks ass. And “Walking Contradiction” had an amazing video.
