You’re pretty good at these dude. You should really consider putting together a book. It would probably sell pretty well.

There are an awful lot of qualifiers in that comment!

Comment by UltraWifeBot 07.10.07 @ 8:18 pm

Pretty Comment that should probably go over pretty well Ultrawifebot.

Hurrah! Keith stayed on topic! And he knows what a qualifier is!

I think if I published a book, there would only be three to five people with any interest in it, and they would all demand free autographed copies. I’m not made of autographs, damn it!

Comment by UltraJoeBot 07.11.07 @ 4:30 pm

I’d buy it. . .but I would demand an autograph next time I’m in the city! (Signed by UltraJoeBot of course)

Can you do a comic that has McGyver in it? Will McGyver autograph my copy of your book? Not sign “Richard Dean Anderson”, but sign “McGyver”? I bet he’d love that. Then we’d be friends?

Comment by PGM 07.12.07 @ 9:22 am

I wouldn’t rule out the possibility, but things have been a little shaky ever since you jumped out of that cake at his birthday.

When I broke my arm in the 3rd grade, I tried to get Reginald Vel Johnson to sign my cast as Carl (from Family Matters), but he just waved his newspaper at me and said it served me right for trying to scale the walls of his house. Some people are just jerks. McGyver seems like he’d be cool though.

That figures, he’s always been a jerk. He’d always tell Steve to go home, even when he hadn’t done anything. He acted so annoyed and superior.

Comment by PGM 07.12.07 @ 10:13 am

Also he was friends with Die Hard.

Get with it people, MacGyver is the old. Out with the old, and in with the new. He is now known as General Jack O’Neill. With two l’s. Doesn’t anybody here watch Stargate SG-1? The actually just aired the last episode a couple weeks ago, but this is one of the best shows ever.

For those of you who don’t watch, I HIGHLY recommend watching the first three seasons of Battlestar Galactica on DVD. BG is not corny like Start Trek could be, nor full of weird creatures.

The basic plot is that humanity creates robots, they become aware, fight the humans, and then flee to another world. 40 years goes by, and then they come back (looking like humans now) and end up carpet nuking all 12 planets that comprised humanity. Only the people that happened to be in ships in orbit survived. All these people banded together and are on the run from the cylons, who wish to destroy them. Its a good setup for great story telling. Again, HIGHLY recommended.

(I apologize for the long winded comment, but MacGyver = Stargate = Battlestar in my strange head.)

Oh yeah, and I would certainly buy your book, but I would like it autographed.

And I probably qualify my statements pretty well I’d say.

what?

Comment by Joshua Wakefield 07.12.07 @ 8:10 pm

Oh my goodness gracious. I just spent too much of my precious time reading that comment. I want that 1 minute of my life back. Wait a second, now I’m wasting more of my precious time writing a comment directed toward the comment that I had waste my precious time on in the first place. Ok then, the way I see it: you owe me 1 minute for the original comment, 5 dollars for the whiskey and 45 dollars for the horse. Marty: that’s 50 dollars.

Comment by Keith 07.13.07 @ 9:51 am

You guys are a bunch of weirdos. Also, a show about killer robots sounds pretty rad.

Comment by UltraJoeBot 07.13.07 @ 11:25 am

Keith, reading comments doesn’t work that way. Do me a favor and watch the mini-series that was showed before season 1 of the show. Its the whole setup. If you do that, I fully expect an apology because you will be glad I turned you onto this show.

Joe, highly recommend you watch the mini-series. You’ll be addicted. Not to mention season 4 won’t air until January… you’ve got time to catch up.

And for the record, I’m definitely not the weirdest one here. Actually, I’d say its Keith (from what little glimpses I’ve seen of his mind through his comments.).

Good day to you sirs. And ma’am.

Comment by Joshua Wakefield 07.13.07 @ 1:57 pm

I won? Yay I’m the weirdest! I want to thank my Mom and God and all the funny hats that I had to wear to get here. And a dog and a sandwich. Satan deserves his praises to, but I’ll save those until I’m turning on a spit over the open flame of his fiery love. I would also like to take this opportunity to shout at a cat. AAAAAAAAAAA!!! CAAAAAT!!!…. and so on and so forth.

Comment by Keith 07.16.07 @ 8:23 am

You are thanking your mom and god? Who are you, Jesus?

Comment by Joshua Wakefield 07.16.07 @ 3:40 pm

Not yet

Comment by Keith 07.26.07 @ 2:54 pm

Quick update - turns out the Battlestar Galactica miniseries is totally way awesome. That is all.
